Kluberplex AG 11-462 Description
Klüberplex AG 11-462 is a spreadable adhesive lubricant based on mineral oil and an aluminium complex soap thickener, and contains white solid lubricants. Klüberplex AG 11-462 can withstand high loads, offers good corrosion protection and is free raw materials containing bitumen, solvents or chlorine.
Kluberplex AG 11-462 Application
Klüberplex AG 11-462 was developed as a priming lubricant for large open girth gear drives and serves also as a contrast lubricant for checking the drive's load pattern. Small open drives, slow-running rolling bearings, sliding and guide rails and similar components can also be lubricated and protected by Klüberplex AG 11-462.

Priming lubrication
Klüberplex AG 11-462 is applied by brush or spatula, ideally onto clean surfaces. To determine the right quantity for your application, please see the diagram overleaf.
Operational lubrication
Klüberplex AG 11-462 can be applied by brush as well as by manually operated grease guns. The lubricant can be applied using suitable centralized lubrication systems at temperatures 0 to 60°C. Adhesion is sufficient at temperatures as low as -40°C.
Provided sufficient relubrication is ensured, short-term thermal loads of up to 200°C are permissible. The lubricant quantities to be used depend on the operating conditions and must be determined for each application individually.
Minimum shelf life
The minimum shelf life is approx. 24 months if the product is stored in its unopened original container in a dry, frost-free place.
