Application of Klüberalfa DH 3-230:

Sintered Metal Components:

• Kluberalfa DH 3-230 oils are used for impregnating sintered metal plain bearings that operate at high temperatures and require long-term lubrication.
• Thanks to their exceptional thermal and chemical stability, additional lubrication with products like MIKROZELLA is typically not necessary.

Plastic Components:

• Kluberalfa DH 3-230 oils are suitable for lubricating both plastic components and metal-plastic sliding contact surfaces. These oils are clear, colourless, and odourless, and they do not form unwanted resins.

Material Compatibility:

• Kluberalfa DH 3-230 oils are generally considered neutral towards elastomers and plastics (except for perfluorinated rubber). As a result, they are not expected to have any adverse effects on the material.
• However, it is recommended to conduct compatibility tests with the specific materials, especially before implementing the lubricant in series applications. Ensuring compatibility is essential to avoid any potential issues with the materials.

• Sintered metal components are impregnated by immersion in the Kluberalfa DH 3 oil. The oil bath can be heated up to a maximum of 80 °C, during which the immersion tank is subjected to a low vacuum of 0.1 to 0.001 bar, accelerating penetration.
• The sintered-metal component is completely filled with oil when no more air bubbles are expelled to the oil surface.
