Applications

MOLYKOTE 6166 Grease used for automobiles, electrical appliances, precision equipment, audio equipment, and office equipment with plastic parts. Reduces noise and improves freedom of movement in gears and other sliding parts.

How to use MOLYKOTE 6166 

Clean points of application. As is usual with lubricating greases, apply or fill by means of a brush, spatula, or automatic lubrication device.

Handling precautions

MOLYKOTE 6166  may irritate the skin or eyes. Wear safety equipment as necessary when handling this product. In event of contact with skin or eyes, immediately rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical care if necessary. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. At high temperatures in excess of 200°C, the breakdown of fluorinated polymer can cause the release of a small amount of toxic gas. Ensure adequate ventilation.

When stored, unopened, in a cool, dark place, this product has a usable life of 36 months the date of production.
