Krytox GPL 212 Grease

Krytox GPL212 Grease is a black, PFPE-Based lubricant technology with a PTFE thickener and additized molybdenum disulfide (Mos2) for extreme pressure performance. Krytox GPL212 is extremely well suited for highly loaded gears and bearings within the automotive and industrial sectors. 

Krytox GPL 212 heavy-duty grease is used for high loading or slow speeds. EP greases have high load-carrying capability and good lubrication characteristics under boundary and mixed friction conditions. In addition to the EP additive in Krytox GPL 212 heavy-duty grease, Krytox oil provides adequate EP protection as an oil by itself, due to the viscosity build under load and its unique tribochemistry.

Krytox GPL212 has a base oil viscosity of 15 centistokes at 40°C and is well suited for applications with temperatures up to 270°F.

Krytox GPL212 exhibits the same chemical properties as the PFPE base oil used to make it (Krytox™ GPL102). 

One of the greatest advantages of using Krytox lubricants is stability in a wide variety of operating conditions and environments. This inert nature is what allows Krytox oils and greases to outlast and outperform competing hydrocarbon products.
