Applications MOLYKOTE 6169 Grease

MOLYKOTE 6169 Grease is developed for use in valve seals; can be used in valves and other components low temperatures to high temperatures, in corrosive, solvent, liquefied natural gasses, high vacuum, etc. Applicable for components such as pneumatic control valves requiring long- term lubrication, even at room temperature.

How to use MOLYKOTE 6169 Grease

Clean points of application. As is usual with lubricating greases, apply or fill by means of a brush, spatula, or automatic lubrication device. Handling precautions Although MOLYKOTE 6169 Grease is highly chemically stable, at temperatures in excess of 200ºC, the material will gradually decompose and release toxic gases; be sure to have adequate ventilation if you expect the material to decompose. Do not smoke cigarettes that are contaminated with this product. Be sure to wash hands thoroughly after use.
